Offensively Ides is equipped with remarkably soft hands for catching the ball and a velvety smooth touch for shooting it.  Very adept at using his size to create scoring opportunities, Ides is as capable of backing his opponent down for an easy score as he is at turning around and shooting over him.  Forcing most defenses to double team him, Ides punishes this strategy with a hawk-like eye and precision pass that allows him to always find  the open man for a three point shot or on a cut to the basket.

Defensively Ides uses is size to disorientate attackers smothering his own man and clogging the paint to such an extend that driving to the hole is nearly impossible for any of the opposing guards.  Ides has lighting fast hands which absolutely disallow slashers to pass around him once they are caught up in his web-like help defense.
